Robbers Cave, Oklahoma

Last weekend we went camping with a group of friends from church in Robbers Cave, OK. We stayed in cabins, but spent the entire weekend outside. The weather was great, not too hot and no rain! Saturday we went hiking and spent some time by the lake letting the kids just play and run around. We rode paddle boats and fed the largest school of catfish I have ever seen!

Here Austin is giving his cheesy "cheese" smile for the camera!
The kids and Dad climbing and making Mom very nervous!

Snack time! We found out that Austin may not be allergic to peanut butter after all, he ate a Recees Peanut Butter cup on accident and did OK!
Water break.
The Carpenters brought their 9 mo old mastiff, Duke. Austin decided to give him a big hug.
Halie was too busy playing with her friends to join us for a family picture.

Pumpkin Patch

We got to spend part of the evening tonight at the Pumpkin Patch in Celina. This is my attempt to get a good pic of my kids together. It's really hard to get one with both of them smiling, obviously. This is my best group shot I got. They look like they are having the time of their lives!

There were goats, cows and sheep to feed. The kids loved it. Here, Halie got surprised by a goat trying to eat her shirt!
Austin found a longhorn to feed.

Here we are on a hay ride! I'm not sure that we got above 3 mph the entire ride!

Me and my kiddos!

Searching for the perfect pumpkin....

Still searching....

After our time at the pumpkin farm, we found a new park in Mckinney and had a picnic lunch. A nice way to start out the month of October, hanging out as a family!

Happy Birthday Austin

We celebrated Austin's 2nd birthday a couple weeks ago! The little guys is 2 and is starting to prove it ever day! We had a small party with a few friends and our families. Kristen was able to make it from Tyler for the party, so that was a great treat! Being the incredible party planner that I am, I forgot to get candles for his cupcakes, oooops.... Nana had one candle at her house, so we used that. I was fine with it until the kids all pointed out that he was missing one. Oh well, what are you going to do? Use one candle I guess.

The party was car themed, so he got a lot of gifts right along those lines, and he loved all of them! We watched Cars last night at the Lunn's house and he LOVED it. He actually sat and watched the show for more than 15 minutes, which is a miracle! The boy loves cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, helicopters, planes, anything that turns on and goes!

Austin playing in the blow up pool. Since it was still in the mid-90's and humid in the middle of September, we had to have some water for the kids to play in.
Chloe the angel!
Jacob won the contest for being the best at the slip-n-slide. The others couldn't really figure it out!

One of the few cute pics of the two of them I have been able to get.
A kiss from Daddy! One of Austin's other favorite things, Dad.
My sweet boy....
He is quite the charmer, but this is nothing new, he has been using his charm since he was a little baby. He is just working on perfecting now! He is in love with his moving vehicles, loves his tools, loves his sister and wants to be around her all the time and isn't really much into food these days! Unless it is crackers of any kind, ice cream, cookies or fruit. We had to cut back on the fruit yesterday because it was all he would eat that was healthy for him and it caused a few problems down below....
